The thrill of victory is a sweet and intoxicating one, especially in the closely battled contest of tactical and strategic athleticism that is American football. But I believe in no other venue is the sweet nectar of vanquishing a foe as intoxicating as it in in college football.

Compared to its traditionally professionalized counterpart, these young men aren't playing to sustain careers and million dollar contracts, they're often playing for the opportunity to start one in the NFL. Once there, these boys turned men must learn the nuanced differences between college football and professional: catch rules, contact rules, and the timeless rule of "he who wins against an unranked opponent by a single point after giving up an entire football field in penalty yards shall not talk shit when the clock hits 0:00".
